Title: H.G. Walls built shrine
Post by: Operator5 on June 23, 2008, 05:35:18 PM
Herb Gundt of H.G. Walls just sent along some new pictures of a piece he built for a local .45 Adventure game. More great looking stuff. The second picture shows the statue after it's come to life.

And if anyone can tell me where the creature's came from, I would appreciate it. Herb does not remember. He said they were from a toy line.

I *think* that the beast is from one of the new Star Wars movies - I seem to recall seeing one converted to an Ork Squiggofant some years ago.

Superb work. Mr. Gundt certainly is one of the very, very best.

It's Grovel from Marvel's Most Wanted Spat & Grovel pack. It's about five inches long not including the tail.

Thank you Need Robots on Frothers UK!!!

Lots of them on eVIL-Bay at the moment, by the way.

Nice inspiration for some summer terrain building!

Does the platform with statue actually come off the main large structure, or is that a bit of photochoppery?

If it does, excellent idea - makes a very cool piece of scenery even more flexible.

Operator5, what's going on with Herb Gundt and his magnificent site HG WALLS? The server is no longer available, and there is a short note on TMP that HG WALLS will no longer build anything for the public but is now building lots of stuff for gaming companies ...?

It would be a real loss if Herb's wonderful site with all those grand buildings and terrain pieces will no longer be on the web  :'(

Do you know any details?
