This week I've been painting Yu Jing figures for Infinity. Very cool minis, I must say, almost too cool as you really don't want to screw them up with poor painting. A nightmare for a painter who doesn't usually get anything finished as there seems to be always something to paint better :). I didn't like the original orange theme too much, and decided to add some colour to the Zhanshis (the troopers that is). The domaru (the white armoured chick) is my favourite, but of course the cursed photo revealed that I have to tidy some parts of her up a bit...

Looking good! Those Abberrant bases are some of the nicest textured plastics ever. I've got a ton of them on myYu Jing as well!

They've come out really nicely! Whats next on the agenda for yu jing then?
-
Seconded. Really great color scheme.

I really like the blue and grey color scheme. Great job!
I love those bases, they are the same ones I used for my Nomads.

Thanks for comments. I agree on the bases, and if i recall correctly they were pretty cheap too. Next I'm going to work on the rest of the starter pack figures, Celestial Guard and Shang Ji, I've also got a Zhanshi HMG waiting for painting. Next, I'm itching to get one of the big guys, O-Yoroi probably. A nice and very stealthy addition for special operations, right?

Very nice work. I particularly like the colours you chose.

Lovely work.
I know what you mean. Those infinity models are a bit daunting to start painting.
