Hello,
This is my pictish force for the upcoming Raiders supplement to the excellent dark ages rules Dux Britanniarum from Too Fat Lardies. The miniatures are a mix of Black Tree Design, Gripping Beast, Old Glory and West Wind. The shield transfers and the banner are from Little Big Men Studios.
The lord with his champion, a standard bearer and a lesser noble.

These are bloody lovely!
May I ask what the gaming surface is there? It looks more realistic than the old battle mat!
-
Really well done!

Very nice indeed!

Great work!

Cheers guys!

The surface is one of my gaming boards. It's nothing fancy, just your standard drybrushed sand and static grass glued on in patches.

Great warband!!

A fine body of raiders there.

FAN-TAS-TIC!!!
These are brilliant. Thanks for sharing these. These figures are out of this world, and your positioning/staging for photos really shows them to great advantage.

Thank you all for your kind words.
I'm planning to take some snaps of my Saxons as well, and post them here.
