Title: D&D characters (31 March – Orc Bodyguards)
Post by: Smith on 07 March 2014, 07:39:09 PM
I finally bit the bullet and started up a blog for my various modelling and wargaming nonsenses.

The first posts are dedicated to my first completed Frostgrave gang (all seen  previously in a thread on LAF), and a number of D&D characters I've been building for a forthcoming RPG campaign.

Here's hoping the blog will get in painting more regularly!

Some new characters for the villainous side of things – two Duergar and an Orc.

Thanks, Bloggard!

A short update from this weekend: one gnome sorcerer, painted and ready to dungeon-delve.

Some Orcs, converted to make sure it all worked before going off half-cocked and ordering the bits I need!

Thanks for the positive comments, chaps!

So, I'm really starting to wish that I enjoyed painting as much as kitbashing – it would free up no end of space on my workstation if I did... I'd even just settle for being as quick a painter as a kitbasher...

Anyway, with an unlooked-for motivation this evening, I threw together some Orc bodyguards for my warband:

Hands-down my favourite models for the gang so far, and suitably named: Bebop and Rocksteady.

I am massively slow at painting too. I like kit bashing but hate cleaning models.

Looks good so far, I love the fact you have called them bebop and rocksteady.
