Title: Spanish Infantry uniforms, 1630-40
Post by: Ignatieff on 26 June 2008, 04:58:06 PM
Chaps

I am researching the above uniforms for a re-enactment group I am involved with.

I am particularly trying to find original source illustrations of a cassack type garment shown on the cover of Parkers Thirty Years War (early edition).  I am not sure if this a full buttoned version or a simpler tabard style (a la King's Musketeer style).  Any help or direction gratefully received.

thanks

Try this then maybe search the bibliography and links. It's a good start point.
