Title: One Man Walking Army

I started to build walker out of the small tank

Post by: Westfalia Chris on 26 June 2008, 07:43:36 PM: Cast ones 100%. The plastic used for those straws is almost completely unpaintable, at least if you cannot place the pieces in an area where it will not get touched. Maybe do a set of 4 arms on a sprue, and separate hands.

Yeah, you're right, no chance to get paint stuck on them... I updated the pics above!

I think it may be the tentacle type arms and legs, combined with the old school diver-like 'face plate'. If a hose plugged into the smoke stack, the illusion would be complete.

I can just imagine it striding along the sea bed and stumbling upon some ancient Atlantean ruins :)
