Having read and liked the "Transmogrification" rule for Dr Jekyll in the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen company (Bonus Materials section of the In Her Majesty's Name blog) I wanted to depict the transformation of Dr Jekyll into Mr Hyde.
I have taken my inspiration also from the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen graphic novels by Alan Moore & Kevin O'Neill.
The two figures on the left are by Ironclad Miniatures, and the two "transmogrified" figures on the right are Heroclix plastics.
Just have to finish the bases now...
(I'm also going to have to work out some house rules for the 4 stages of transmogrification)

That is VERY cleaver! Good work. :-*

Well done! What were the heroclix figures originally?
-
Both Hulks I think.
The figure on the right definitely is.
Not sure which sets they're from though.
(I have more Heroclix Hulks than is good for me, but I have plans, ;) )

Absolutely splendid! :D

Fantastic

Lovely paint jobs on the Hulks. Did you do anything special when painting them, like primer costs or such?
-
I find that the Heroclix figures paint fine if you just undercoat over the original colours.
I undercoat with a black (car spray) primer, the same as I do for bare metal/plastic figures.

Here are some of the repainted Hulks.
I plan on using them as Society of Thule experiments to create super soldiers.
It hasn't quite worked, but they still have their uses.
(I havent done their bases yet, because I tend to do a load of basing in one go)
