Great looking figures! :-*
As per your question: Very nice looking color but quite strong on the green side. I would say that is an attractive color for early war figures' tunics. German wool became less and less natural, virgin wool and more and more recycled and man made fillers or pulps. The fabric tended to dye into a grey-er/browner color as the fabric quality increasingly decreased over the years.
Another item for thought: often, the paint manufacturers' fieldgrey paint is actually a RAL match for fieldgrey paint and not fieldgrey uniforms. This paint was applied to items such as helmets and mess tins. Check to see what color you are using and see what the manufacturer described their color as.

Lovely :-* :-* :-*

Lovely brushwork
Agree they do have a slight green hue to them but it doesn't 'spoil' them at all, they look great!
-
Wow - I wish I could do something close to this good...
-
Stunning...20 or 28mm?
Breathtaking brushwork o_o
-
Quality brushmanship there mind...
-
Bloody lovely! :-*
-
I like that green colour!
-
They look great!
Crusader miniatures?
-
Thanks a lot to everyone :)
Thanks for your answer CorvetteK225, i will try to paint some darker fieldgrey.
Left and right are from Crusader and the centre figure is made by Artizan Designs.

Just mix them in and do slightly different shades throughout your army and you will probably achieve what the more ragtag look of an army over the months/years and the slightly piecemeal nature to the uniforms they would have seen.

:o :-* :o
I think they look great… It might be my computer screen, which usually show darker pictures than they really are, but I think the are perfect, not too green at all (at least for the early war period). which color did you use?
-
28mm at its best both the minis and the paint job!!! Well done!
-
Wow. Lovely paint jobs.
-
I think these look great :D

Very nice painting. I've always liked my field grey a little bit greeny-grey. I had about 100 Tamiya Germans once upon a time, and they all had uniforms this colour :)
-
I think they look stunning! A brilliant colour in my opinion. I would like to paint mine in that hue.
-
They are excellent :-* :-* :-*.
Uniform is fine 8) 8) 8)

I think they look perfect. What paint did you use?
I look forward to seeing more.
-
Fantastic :-* :-* :-*
-
My parents told me that the german occupation force was referred to as 'the green ones', so at least on the whipcream front, many uniforms must have had an obvious green hue.
-
Fantastic looking minis fella, I'd be well chuffed if mine looked like that!
What did you use for the basing? I'm always keen to expand my range of basing materials and I love the look of what you've done there, any chance of what paints and materials used?
-
Stunning!!!! :-* :-* :-* :-*
More please!!
