Well as there are plenty of adverts for what is coming up from C&C, and anyone who was listening at Salute last year knows what is coming, I think I should be ok to post something I have been painting up for a while, and have finally finished today - (Ok, the basing needs some tufts etc, but I get those next week at Salute when I find the colours I particularly want)
My Spanish force for Saga/C&C.
Note these are some of the older line of GB figures, I believe (but do not quote me on this as I have no sources) that there are some new lovely figure goodness for the Spanish due from GB, but I may certainly be wrong here.
Onto the pictures -

Looks great! :)

I like the subdued colour palette used, well done.

They look good 8) 8) 8)
But, The two warlords are riding Turkish looking barded mounts, is this deliberate?

I like the subdued colour palette used, well done.
I second that, and the colour choice for the army is great.

Fantastic set of units there. I especially like the way you have gone for simple shield designs - I doubt all warriors were Rembrandts back in the day as most sets of shield transfers seem to imply.

Nice and effective paint scheme :-*
