Hello all,
I am looking for a set of campaign rules that will work for the "Barons wars". Open to all suggestions and I dont mind doing some tweaking if need be! Free is good, but dont mind paying if they are good.
As always thanks in advance.

What are you looking to do with them?
Logistics, castles, alliances or just the battles?

The board game Kingmaker (Wars of the Roses) could be adapted, it's now a bit of a rarity or you could adapt the Perfect Captain rules for a campaign (again that deals with the Wars of the Roses):

It's a free set, they do ask you to make a donation to your favourite charity, which I did.... only seems fair 8).
There's also a publication by the Lance and Longbow Society called Invasion that I haven't used but do own....

Thanks so far,
what I am looking for is a way of advancing hero's and units, a basic map to determine battles and some way of accounting for loss of troops and then recruiting. I am looking for a system that will drive battles rather than an overly complex one that gets to bogged down in detail.

I would suggest Too Fat Lardies' Dux Britanniarum... it's designed for the Age of Arthur obviously, but the basic troop types are there and does just what you say you need. A bit of tweaking for the troop types and off you go.

+1 for dux britanniniarum.
I also found an 'Arthurian' campaign system that used cards as a map designed to represent chevauchée type campaign, always thought it could be used for later medieval periods but have not tried it yet.

The post's a bit long, but the system is easy enough to use.

Both Extra Impetus 3 and Extra Impetus 5 have medieval campaign rules included.

Thanks all, looking into the options as we speak and eagerly awaiting Brent's campaign system to fit in with my favourite rule set Havoc!
