Although the pre-orders for 'On the Seven Seas', will begin at the end of May, I couldn't resist showing off this figure that's part of the Nickstarter pre-orders.

Indeed he looks enough like an Assassin (of the Assassin's Creed type) to appear as such in 18th C. games spiced with some Fantasy / Gothic Horror / 'Pulp' (http://'http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=64347.0); and the hooded cloak gives him a nice 'cultist' appearance (who knows, he may even be a Deep One hybrid or have small tentacles around the mouth (http://www.sciborminiatures.com/i/2014/big/cthulhu_cultists_set_01.jpg)...).

Btw Black Scorpion is to produce a similar figurine (http://www.blackscorpionminiatures.com/)
so you can field a lethal team.

Obvious inspiration of both miniatures:

[Hope the'll not stop here, A'sC Black Flag has other inspirational designs:

Possible bodyguard (because of the hood) of this cute Hasslefree (http://www.hfminis.co.uk/shop?product=lenore~hfh087&category=miniatures~*new-toys*) used as a 'cult great priestess':

Not yet quite the 'warrior monks' of the Scorpion comics (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Le_Scorpion)
but coming close.

In the same Lacepunk (http://www.drunkendragoonproductions.com/18thcentimagi-nation/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=81) vein, a possible 18th C. monster hunter in the making:

Indiegogo project (https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/laurent-leleu-exterminateur-de-vilaines-betes?show_todos=true)
As fanciful in his costume as the current BBC 3 Musketeers, maybe, but potentially a great addition to the few 18th C. monster hunters / witchers currently available (http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=64347.msg779078#msg779078):

That lat model would look better with nothing in either hand.
