After a long lay off from wargaming I was invited by Ignatieff (whom I've known for more years than we both care to remember) to join The League of Extraordinary Kriegspielers and now consider myself one of this illustrious band of gamers. I command the Very Armed German Archaeologists. Several years later and during our last outing - The Cradle of Life – at the 1st Battle of Aswan members of GSG (Graf Stauffenberg Gruppe) 9 abseiled onto an enemy HMG position turning the battle in our favour. Inspiring zep.
No doubt the archaelogists will list in their credentials: "Mauser marksman". ;)
Likewise, very convincing terrain.
Thank you for posting the pics.

Thank you.
Sadly the archaelogists struggle on that front - hitting the proverbial barn door from the inside is an achievement for us.
Havn't built terrain before returning to the fold, inspired by Ignatieff's incredible collection.

Some more "Very Armed German Archaeologists"(http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll23/Von-Stauffenberg/Cradle%20of%20Life/PICT1796.jpg)(http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll23/Von-Stauffenberg/Cradle%20of%20Life/PICT1792.jpg)
I'm currently re-doing their bases to better suit the lighter terrain. I've tried to make the uniforms "mixed" to suit their far flung missions.
