Sudanese battalion flag 1883-1889

Free Sudanese flag sheet of all the battalions from 1893-89 on the
main website at  http://grimsbywargamessociety.webs.com/

Each infantry battalion was issued a plain green silk flag, about 40"x32", with white Arabic (Hindu) numerals of the battalion on the center with a white crown above. These flags were carried into battle during the Sudan 1883-89

Your group should put out a flag booklet one of these days,very usefull information,thanx for the pictures.

Well we got one in the pipe line at the moment Osprey are interested in so you never know
