Title: Wanting leads on 'working girls'
Post by: Constable Bertrand on 12 April 2014, 09:42:46 AM
Hi all,

I've been thinking my little town may need some working girls when "Big Richard's" Hotel opens up in town. What figures are there?

I've seen the Black Scorpion tombstone and pirate ranges http://www.blackscorpionminiatures.com/product_info.php?products_id=116 (http://www.blackscorpionminiatures.com/product_info.php?products_id=116) which I may go for to go with my other BS figures (i like the resin detail) and ive seen the Malifaux 'Beckoners' http://wyrd-games.net/shop/images/P/p-16815.jpg (http://wyrd-games.net/shop/images/P/p-16815.jpg) they were quite nice. The Malifaux undead belles are nice apart from the fact they are rotting zombies, and ive seen the undead vixens box :(. The eureka mini on gas lightpole http://eurekamin.com.au/product_info.php?cPath=87_126_153_157&products_id=1895 (http://eurekamin.com.au/product_info.php?cPath=87_126_153_157&products_id=1895) was also nice (apart from the pole, it reduces movement in town a little ;) ) The reaper cowgirls are nice figures... but not quite parlour material.

Any tips for larger 28's-32's? They can have weapons, or not..

Cheers
Matt

I've got West Wind harlots from their Gothic range.

Didn't the Prof have those in his Wild West town many years ago?

Don't Foundry have a fairly nice little set of "soiled doves" in Victorian undergarments in their Wild West range?

These ones here? From the victorian range

These are the ones from the wild west range: (second pack)

Some great suggestions there but most are a little too small as Bertie asked for.....

Any tips for larger 28's-32's? They can have weapons, or not..

....which makes things a little more difficult to find.

The Reaper range is the only thing that springs to mind.

I have used this Sheila:

She is Mama Mute in Upsheet Creek, while the blacksmith will be a character too.
They are both from one of their fantasy lines, Villagers or Townsfolk or somesuch, but I think that they work for the Old West just fine.

Other than that you may have to start converting, mate.

Time to get the green stuff out, methinks....
 ;)

Ive noticed Muma-mute a few times around these parts, and perhaps she (the 77086: Townsfolk: Strumpet) is the way to go.

Isn't the reaper bones range Heroic 25mm? Does that mean they are a little small for Black scorpion 32mm?

Not quite that risqué  lol

The wild west ones are good but id only get 2 in the pack. :?

Is there a size difference with the reaper strumpet figure? As there are two serial numbers from different ranges. (Boneyard: P02584B: Townsfolk: strumpet [10029 E] and the other is Bones: 77086: Townsfolk: Strumpet)

I have also spotted the Malifaux showgirls...

Thanks for the help chaps.

Boneyard is Reaper's way of breaking down some of the packs into individual figures or components where single figures are made up like a simple kit and can be purchased as "bits".

The same model, but off course the boneyard one is in metal and the bones one is plastic.

Thanks, They are nice looking figs, but I think the knuckleduster figs are just too small in comparison to black scorpion :

I may have to go the reaper ones after all.
