My copy of Too Fat Lardies' long-awaited Raider supplement for Dux Brit was crammed through my letterbox about ten minutes ago! My first impressions are it's a great piece, with a LOT of play in it. I'll post a fuller review on here and on my blog soon, but I think I'm really going to enjoy this!
Full marks to Rich et al at TFL on this, and on getting it into my grubby paws quick-sharp after the release date.
Well I can't sit here talking to you lot - I've got raiding games to set up lol

My copy will be winging its way to me via a mate who is at Salute! Can't wait to see it and have a bash at doing a Northern British army - trying out some cavalry!!!

I need to do ONE more warrior cavalryman to allow me to use the "North British" option. I feel a slight rearrangement of painting priorities coming on... :D

I picked it up earlier at Salute with the main Dux rules - May have to give it an airing on the train home

I have to do a couple of mtd characters, as all mine look too 'Roman' and all my WAB Welsh have spiral, cross or animal shield designs so I need to do a couple more like that. I also have some half finished cavalry models and this will give me the impetus to get them done. Am I to assume that you need one group of elite shock cavalry and at least one group of warrior cavalry, 4 to each group?

It's all optional - you can swap 6 elite for for 4 shock cavalry, and/or 6 warriors for 4 warrior cav.
I'll use my late Roman/Subroman cavalry for the elite, my Strathclydes (when I do another one!) for my warriors and my Lancelot figure as a mounted noble. I'll probably still get hammered off the table, but they'll look smart!
