Nice entry Khartoum!  Captain Nemo especially steals the show, as is proper I suppose!  I like the fleshtones in particular.

Where's Jack, that foolish samurai?

Is he not in the future that is Aku?

Yeah, my kids watched a lot of Samurai Jack. Like the custom Aku feature a lot. Well done, very LPL.

And up against a VSF team! That boarding party is very cool, and somewhere on my 'to-do' list for VSF projects.

AHHHH! Decisions, decisions....

Thanks for the nice comments these were really nice miniatures to paint.

Not hear of ninja Jack before but absolutely love the totem pole it is so Wacky - That's not to detract form the great paint job  on the figures.

it is not a totem, it's AKU! The two dimensional shape shifting master of darkness, unleashed an unspeakable evil!

Jack is there in the lower left close to the camera, out of focus.  Unfortunately my nice camera is out of commission for this LPL so all my pictures are shot with the cell phone  :'(, so the focal length that I have is the only one I am stuck with.  The scene doesn't look like it does in my head, but without being able to mess with the aperture and change the focal length, this is what I've got...

My kids are still a little young for Samurai Jack, but I've got all the seasons on DVD so I am just waiting!   :D

Mecha-samurai are Superfigs (http://www.oldglory25s.com/view_product.php?product=SF-HE%2013)

Jack is a Reaper samurai (http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/samurai/latest/02533)

Aku is Sculpy.  He was actually kind of an afterthought after everything else was painted.  Clearly sculpting is not my strong suit, but he was fun to make.

Crap! How did I miss Jack in the foreground? I guess I was just drawn to AKU!

His two dimensional evil transcends the 4th Dimension (time travelling evil, man!)

I sympathise with regards to the camera - I only have the phone and as well and getting the right picture is a nightmare.  This has been a crash course in how to try and get the best from it for model pictures - I think so far for the first 4  rounds I must have taken what seems like a hundred snaps of which the one above is the only one that as been anywhere near decent once the picture size has been reduced.

The samurai Jack in the corner is great and gives the scene an ethereal effect and still love the Aru - it makes me smile every time I see it with the evil eyes and brilliant mouth.  It always makes me think of the Pepperami advert
