Our store's back up and offering a new model, the Cormorant Medium Lander.
This craft is used to insert several squads of infantry directly into the battle zone -- even directly into combat -- due to its heavy armour and powerful defensive armament.

Powered by direct thrust (including a suite of VTOL thrusters) the Cormorant can move troops from the fleet in orbit to the planetary surface, and can also retrieve them for return to the fleet.

An unarmed version, the Heron yacht, is also used as a intrafleet transport by the navy and is widely used in non-military government service, as well as by private owners. Parts are included to make the Heron as well as the Cormorant.

The Cormorant/Heron has a transport pod attached to its underside, and this is a nice little model all its own, as seen here. Although the pod is not meant to be left on the surface by the lander, it can be jettisoned if the lander is damaged or destroyed, and you should be able to easily use it separately if you wish.

I think Charles Oines has done a great job on this design and dwartist has done his usual brilliant paintup (his model has some panel lines painted on the front but the model is provided as shown in these images).
Available now at the link below, cheers for looking:

OMG!
Temptation to make an Army out of your Federation stuff is getting stronger...
Excellent dropship!

Beautiful - might need a miniature next to it to give an idea of scale.

Here's one with the bare resin parts -- dwartist will be providing one with the painted lander in a few days:

A sop to us doubters...
Sorry about that, but you get an image in your head, and it just doesn't shake.
I do have to agree, the pod by itself is a thing of beauty.
And don't think I didn't notice the flanking maneuver with the spaceships!
Brummie's probably right; resistance IS futile.
