Although they are not exactly state of the art, the Crews are most certainly UBERCOOL & rich in character. The Knight with the MAGNIFICENT Mustache & the Goblin Wizard are my favorites. GREAT WORK!

Granny Meriwether disappeared in a cloud of smoke while casting a spell, all that remains are her hat, broom and two cat familiars who now wander the land searching for her.

It is a pleasure watching your Fantasy Project develop. The pieces all have a somewhat twisted Faerie Tale feel to them that I find charming & appealing. WONDERFUL WORK! "Wonderful" & "work" are two words that I rarely use together.

As others have commented, the character of your characters is fantastic! Queen Ygrainne's dress came out lovely. I like the way it offsets the colors of her wings, which you also did a sweet job painting.

Can't wait to see more,
Jevenkah

this is one of my groups using Blue Moons Pumpkin Jack as leader, a WoW harvest golem and lots of scarecrows, Crooked Dice, Gripping Beast and Rapier.
I have one more figure to finish for them.
I see the scarecrows as a kind of zombie/cannon fodder, slow moving and tying up opposing units.

Patchworks group using a Confrontation miniature, two Reaper stichpunks and Tor Gamings stichwork dogs.
The scissors are from a collectible plastic miniature game ?, they are to be Patchworks fast attacks.
I have a bigger Reaper stich golem on order to finish this one off and I might add some Malifaux dolls.

Great collection.
Except for the scarecrows and toughs all the others have a lovely "Labyrinth", "Brian Froud" look to them. What is your idea or background for this collection?
Title: Re: The Gray Ghost's fantasy figures
Post by: The Gray Ghost on October 22, 2015, 10:50:08 PM
Thanks
It's actually two collections, one of the Froud type and the second of a darker Malifaux setting, I'm actually thinking of using Malifaux rules first edition as I picked it up cheap.

Runic miniatures witch with Otherworld goblins

this is a better picture of the witch, the blue noses look better than they come out in the picture.

I really like these, fantastic detail on both of them, Diehard is available on Facebook and have more undead planned.
I'll post another pic when they are painted along with a wood elf familiar from them.
One odd thing about them is they don't come with bases.
