Title: New Roman Movie POMPEII
Post by: rumacara on April 20, 2014, 03:18:29 PM
Hello all

After watching Pompeii, a new movie about gladiators and the city of Pompeii i had to post here an introduction for the movie.
Some of you are going to say what an hawfull movie. Others probably disagree, but i say watch it and take a lot of ideas for scenarios.
In my humble opinion, its worth watching, and you will see John Snow from Game of Thrones in the main role.

Thanks for the tip! I had completely missed the whole movie. Doesn't seem like the most realistic of movies, but good inspiration for new projects maybe :) Have to give it a try, if it even runs anywhere here in Finland :D

Looks like they have spent a bit of money on it but the dialogue and acting in the trailer is awful...might watch it eventually if it arrives on tv or a cheap dvd release...is this based upon the Robert Harris book of the same name?...if so the book is much better than this

Well, usually books are better than the movies.
It touches our imaginary before we visualise the movie and sometimes we get disapointed.
At least it gives some really nice ideas.

Looks pretty one dimensional, lots of quite wooded characters etc but I'll probably watch it anyway  lol.
