I just yesterday stumled on my ages-old Flintloque boxed set (the one with Sharke's Ryfles'), and decided that it might be about time I start getting some of those minis ready for a game or two (and, yes, I know I have plenty of other projects in the furnace, but the awaited rulesets for War Rocket and Crossed Lances did not arrive, yet, and I have to think of something else in the meantime. Besides, painting some minis from the bottom of the Lead Alps can't be that counter-productive!).
The 3 scenarios in the booklet come with matching maps, appr. twice as long as wide, but there's no measures, so I'm wondering which size table is standard for the game, please?
If no-one has an answer, I'll probably just use a 4'x8', table, but I assume that the size (and thus distances needed to be covered) might affect the balance of the scenarios?

Honestly we usually use 4x4 table for Flintloque and occasionally step it up to 6x4 but with two sections of ten figures a piece it usually works fine on a 4x4 table.

OK, thanks! I'll try different sizes, but for my first games with only half the minis form the box, I'll just use one of my 3x3 tables with plenty of terrain, then.
