This is the first two buildings ever made. Basic materials:
Cardboard box
plasticard
balsa rods
toothpicks
They are crude and very basic, but I am learning, and if I build another dozen I might at least learn how to cut straight line (hopefully). So here goes:

Bona fide Old West!
Wanted posters on the jail.
Great how the General Store and the Shireff's office 'fit' together with the board walk.
Yehaw!
Straight lines are over-rated. Heh.

havent been browsing lately much but very very nice.
i like the white one the most. how did you make the texture on it. and good work on the boardwalk, my town doesn't even have boardwalks.

Thanks for the comments :)
Wisecrack:
Yes lovely figures arent they. lol
The texture is brushed on white glue in uneven strokes in just one layer.
The board walk was built by putting tooth picks, with the ends cut of, on the base board and then a sheet of plasticard with the "planking" in the form of lines drwn with a hobby knife.
I'm on a budget here so I build things out of cardboard boxes and plasticard. I learn by looking at WIP reports here on the forum. Its just fun to see how it turns out and as long as i can use them in games I am happy. :D
