What stats and cost would you give blowouts ?

A weapon costs a base of one point, add one point for having a range of 12" or less, making two points.
A blow dart on its own would just be an irritant, so that's why native peoples poison their darts, which costs eight points. Of course in return your darts now inflict a pluck penalty of -2, which makes them a great deal more interesting :)

That is the cost for a blowgun and enough darts to last the game yes. Poison don't come cheap :D

I'm a bit focussed on African stuff right now. It will be some time - if ever - before I have enough scenery to set up an urban street battle. :-[
I have a pair of companies now, RN Landing Party and Wissmans Askari company, and this will be my next project. (I might try to post a couple of photos later).
Inspired by a single figure in my spares box I now need to order the figures and blowpipes will be important ;)

The range of 6 inches is buggng me.
A thrown spear can go 9 inches, and all native types have one.
They would be better off dumping the blowpipe and having a poisoned spear instead - saves 2 points per figure ... ???
