Title: New product: polyfiller in a can.
Post by: Commander Vyper on 26 April 2014, 07:23:28 PM
Saw this at Wickes last weekend,  gonna grab some and see how it goes on some polystyrene craved emplacements.  Should give a really clean 'concrete' finish.

£8.99 a can.

cheers

Sounds interesting...Polystyrene and aerosol don't always mix though...I recall a lovingly carved polystyrene hill 'disappearing' right before my eyes once after spraying it!!

i know. But ive also used humbrol acrylic aerosol and that was fine so a test is needed.

(Prehaps this will make up for wickes cancelling their awesome water based paint stripper!  >:( best one I'd ever found).

Hello all

To protect the polystyrene use white glue before you paint it.
It works.

I found this stuff several months ago when I needed to repair a wall in our house. This was textured paint in a spraycan. It sounded awesome...but online reviews really hated the stuff. It didn't offer the texture the videos and product promised.
But this one is without texture, so I think it should work well! Can't wait to see your results
