Title: (COMMERCIAL) WARNING: Battlegrounds-Wargaming Painting Service DO NOT USE: FRAUD
Post by: robh on 27 April 2014, 11:51:09 AM
Warning: Painting Service scammer: Sean Duncan t/a “Battlegrounds-Wargaming”

Sean Duncan of Battlegrounds-Wargaming Painting Service from Brampton, Ontario, Canada

I have instigated legal action against this scumbag in an attempt to get my figures and money back. The local police are already "aware" of this individual (prior to my contact) and have taken my complaint details to pursue formal charges.
This scumbag has now done a runner from his listed address without leaving details of a new location. He has also lapsed his website and stopped posting on social media sites. The Police are looking for him for several reported "instances" including mine.
Is there anyone else here having problems with the scumbag or know someone who is?  If so please email me:
(rbrthpr AT hotmail DOT com) or 22 division Peel Police Department in Brampton direct.
Also if you see Sean Duncan or "Battlegrounds-Wargaming Painting and Modelling Service" threads on other forums you frequent (especially any Warhammer/40K or figure painting/trading related sites) please post a warning and link to this thread or my one on TMP (http://theminiaturespage.com/boards/msg.mv?id=342847 (http://theminiaturespage.com/boards/msg.mv?id=342847))
As I said above the Police were already aware of Sean Duncan so are taking this matter seriously (surprisingly so actually), I have a feeling he has a lot more than just my 15 Gnolls to answer for.

Interesting. I'll post a warning in some of the local forums
