Excellent shots, you two are going to give Frank, Hammers and their cameras a run for their money ;)
Brilliant colour on "Trapped" but I especially like those muted Scythians Alex :-*

Indeed a very nice scene but still a difficult choice.

A very difficult choice. Lovely bright colours on those natives' masks - I love them!
Against another of the Prof's fabulous Cinematic panoramas... Sheesh. :?
-
Top work from both contestants. Tough choice.
-
a difficult choice. I would have liked both entries to have been photographed closer up so that the detail could be better seen.
-
Great to see the Zombie Pygmies.
-
Both great scenes - a very tough choice.
-
Another hard choice! Would love to see close ups of both entries.

Yes…both are really brilliant. I love the idea with the upright standing shells (are whatever it is?).
And it is nice to see that the Prof also like scythians and know how to paint them to perfection. 8)

Thanks all...
The Scythians are wonderful, and the scenery could be the real thing. I especially like the out of focus far distance / background.
Makes me want to dust off my box of unpainted ones... well, maybe not... ;)
The bar has been set and I can imagine how much effort went in to these.
The upright shell thingies are from costume jewelry bracelets I picked up at Joann Fabrics.
Thinking they are maybe old bones or primeval creature shell / carapace bits. Or not...
Looked like they'd make a cool pulpy palisade or boundary of sorts.

Thanks, Steve! These Scythians have been waiting for painting for about 14 years. Like you said, it was some work to paint them and that was the main reason for the delay. Glad I did it finally, though I still got other 13 of them.
I love your entry. The painting, the scenery, the idea, everything is brilliant. This scene is just something I like to do by myself. I've got the Conquest pygmies as well, a Kong by Reaper and a Bob Murch's damsel so I hope to manage something like this one day for another LPL or just for fun :)
