Confederates are great.  Good "Quantrill" look about them.

Two great sets of figures, both superbly painted.  Very hard to choose between them.

Cap'n...your colors are always so vibrant. How do you get such a bright effect? It makes for an eye-popping display!

Yes, Front Rank's late C17th range. Really big, bold, solid figures. A pleasure to paint - lots of very well defined detail  :)

Cap'n...your colors are always so vibrant. How do you get such a bright effect?

Just bright colours, photographed under a very bright daylight twin-tube fluorescent lamp, auto-adjusted for contrast. No secret recipe I'm afraid. Bright paint, bright light ;)

That's a lovely collection of Old Westerners Tsar - tres bon. Je suis désolé a causer leur défaite  :(

Don't worrie Captain, you're one of the best painter on the League, for the moment I can't win againt you ... but ... but ... I had new glasses now !  :D

Now Captian, you have to tell us the truth, did you make a pact with some dark forces or Old Ones for making so fantastic minis ?  ;)

Rebellious Englishmen are great,colours are vibrant,as always.
