Sculpted by the delightful and talented Mr Steve McGuire, this new transit has loads of uses. As well as a tyre sprue in white metal we'll also be adding various other metal accessories to adapt the van for various casts. The first will be a police light, siren and wing mirrors for a Beat Cast. Available in mid May if things go to plan.

Sweet, I'll be getting a few...
-
INEVITABLE!
Best possible choice of vehicle.
I bought some 1970s SIKU Transits for conversions... :D
-
Damn, that is really nice. One of my first toy cars (or at least, one that I remember) was a Siku Ford Transit with movable slide door. Nostalgia attack!
I'm seeing a 1970s-style Brit A-Team project in the making...

Alpha Brigade Chris. ;) Mr T being a strapping six footer from the back row of the Harlequins with a paucant for Earl Grey in a china teacup. 'Le visage': anglo french Playboy from monté carlo.
You can have those two for free. ;)
-
Mr. T. Bagges!
-
Hamilcar Jones must have been suggested somewhere previously!
-
Excellent! I'm going to paint one up as an asbestos stripping crew for getting in and out of government installations without security searches :D
-
Very useful, release in May???

Lots of pit tea for the fools, eh?

I'll show myself out.

Somehow I seem him played by "Day of the Jackal"-era Edward Fox.

Cheers all! I suspect this will be out mid May.
We had Salute and I moved house, so we are running a couple of weeks behind this month.
-
That's great! Long been a dream that someone would make cars and vans from the 1960s and 70s in a useable scale.
-
Complete with bondo repair
-
Whats next Ford Capri, Mini Cooper..??
-
That's a cracking sculpt! Any plans for other vehicles?
-
We've talked about a Panda car for the Beat too. I'd like to do some Anderson style stuff.
-
I want one - or two!
-
Anderson future stuff would be awesome!
-
That's grand, really grand.
I do have an item on my wish list:

If there's a variant on the bench for a campervan with the classic luton bed-over-cab, I'll be happily re-enacting my holidays with the Grandparents to the Norfolk Coast. ;D

Google "(Messerschmitt) Kabinenroller (1/43) (GAMA)" in either combination...
-
I got one from a dutch site (can't remember which) as well as a Tiger (the 4 wheel version)
I was Lucky to get these for a decent price, since they often go for ridiculous amounts.
The brand is Sun Star and they are 1/43.

Coo, thanks.
Back on van topic: I think I will be getting this - I have a sort of plan for a Brazil Transit van :D
-

Hmn, now how difficult would it be to make a little mesh cage to stick on that police one...? ;)
