Title: A Ramshackle conversion - the Bendibok finished
Post by: Vanvlak on 28 April 2014, 06:57:00 PM
At long last I finished the Bendibok, which consists of two tracked Rheboks from the Ramshackle Games range (actually from the successful Kickstarter) linked together by a bendy section.
I left the scheme and markings as generic as possible, to permit use in different scenarios, but this beastie will feature in my extended-Brazil plans.

The stunt Tau trooper posing to provide scale is a typical Tau model, a not-very-heroic 28mm scale.

That's an unusual and interesting idea :)

Very nicely done. My Rheboks are in boxes still :(

Looking good.
I like the concept personally. Excellent execution. What was your inspiration if any? Reminds me of a few others i have seen like this. The bendy tube that joins them i would have liked to see bigger in diameter.
Assuming the treads were left that way on the back unit because the two are meant to separate when necessary?
As for the model the doors on the side are ill placed though. They can be made for a workaround but overall i do like these little tankies.

Thanks - oh go on, get them out and paint them! They're fun to assemble and paint.

Gamma Goat revisited!  ;)
More or less!

Er - the Arriva Bendibuses languishing here in Malta - honestly!

True - but it's the best I could find, they just have to crawl through  ;D
It's a bit of flexible electrical conduit with connectors.

Yup. Hopefully not when someone is crossing the tube.

Those are intended solely for track maintenance  ;)

Certainly is.
Very original.

Reminds me of the hideous Bendy-Bus.
