Title: My Pulp World is Getting Populated
Post by: capthugeca on 12 July 2008, 05:53:25 PM
I finally have got enough figures painted to start things going.

Some of the heros and villains - Skullface, Buggles, the Mummy and Carruthers

More heros and villains - James Bind (Secret Agent), the Wraith, a gamekeeper and Sir Basil (Mountaineer and Adventurer)

Some local characters - the big game hunter, Sir Reginald, the Junior Reporter, the mad lighthouse keeper
(http://i249.photobucket.com/albums/gg236/capthugeca/Pulp/Characters1.jpg)

The professors and scientists - Prof Shorthouse, Herr Dokteur, Patrick Mower and Dr Hawkins

a German Ubermensch

The Gargoyle and his sidekick demon

And finally the extras.

Now I just need to work on the scenery!

Cracking good capthugeca, cracking good. I see many fun pulp adventures ahead with that crew of charcters you have assembled. Can't wait to see the terrain and some in-game shots.

Great work - there is plenty of scope for some wonderful Pulp fun with that lot!

I assume the "extras" are those Irish rebellion figures [whose correct title and manufacturer I've completely forgotten  :?] ?

Although it's one war that I find I have no interest in gaming, the figures are ideal for pulp baddies etc.

Also who does the "Patrick Mower" figure? He's wonderfully eccentric.

Please post pics of games once available.

No, actually, they're a mixture of Bolt Action and Black Tree Design partizans.
Like you, I find the Irish rebellion a little too close for comfort.

He's an Artizan Design Thrilling Tales figure.
