Title: US Assault Gun Platoon

Looking at doing a wee unit using 105mm Howitzer Shermans.

I know US armoured units had a 105mm 6 tank assault gun platoon in the later stages of the war.

For Rapid Fire, at 5 units being one model, a real 6 tank platoon would be 1, maybe 2 tanks at a push.

Would it have the Sherman OP tank? This has two antenna I know, but what else is different about it?

Would it have the jeep and figs a Priest unit has?

I assume it would not have the halftrack radio vehicle as all that kit is in the OP tank - hence the two antennas?

Info would be great.

The Assault Gun Platoon had 3 105 Shermans a halftrack in the HQ and another in the ammo Section AFAIK

For Rapid Fire I think 2 105mm tanks (should be 1 by a scale of 1 model represents 5 vehicles, but Rapid Fire does seem to have more artillery pieces than 5:1)

I will add in one Halftrack and trailer to represent the HQ and ammo train.
