Great scenes on both. Two painters I recognize immediately without seeing the names :)

Very nice colors on the Comanche riders- particularly that ochre on the face. Right on!

A great entry here from both contestants!

Excellent entry and theme there Mike, I am really liking the layout of this one! Those raptors look so realistic and well camouflaged I didn't notice them at first... The terror that grew out of me when I realized what was happening in the picture was awesome :) I feel for those two, I hope it ends quickly at least.

Very kind of you to say so, Bugsda! It is poetic justice, though, considering how many 28mm Conquest Indians I've entered in my 3 LPLs. It was about time I got pummeled by some -- ha, ha!

Thanks for all the kind words about the raptors. I experimented with a new technique on the coloring of them, and am quite happy with how they turned out. Your Commanche have stunning detail and color, so I'm not surprised you're winning. Conquest is one of my favorite companies, too.

Don't worry about the kids, Joe. Remember Jurassic Park 3? I'm sure a smoke grenade is on its way hurtling into the scene to effect their rescue... lol
