Hi folks.
Some of you may have played "Nocturne", a video game back in 1999. Though the game wasn't that great on many aspects, it had a cool atmosphere and background, very Delta Green/BPRD like, with some pulp elements (I mean, come on, fighting Al Capone's undead goons in a bordelo with a tommy gun!).
For my first Pulp/Cthulhu like Horror project, I plan to build up a team made of some of the members of the Spookhouse, the darkness-fighting gouvernmental agency depicted in "Nocturne".
Depending on the available miniatures, it will most likely end up with:
- The Stranger (see my avatar pic): dark and mysterious guy who talks little but shoots monsters. The Gargoyle miniature from Rattrap Production is an obvious choice, though I could as well add some night googles to one of the Mark Copplestone's tommy gunner (the one with the trenchcoat).
- Scat Dazzle: a jazzman possessed by the Baron Samedi. Any lightly-armed miniature with a hat would fit. Maybe the Continental Op from Copplestone.
- Doc Holliday: the regular female scientist who invents vampire-killing bullets and stuff. I made a few researches, but couldn't find a proper mini. Any idea for something with a white blouse, protective glasses and rubber gloves?
- Svetlana Lupescu: the half-vampire bitch, wearing black and wielding dual blades. Again, I don't have a clue about the mini I will use.
Bonus stuff: the game intro. Yeah, it's cheap.

Well, if don't mind the shoulder armor (or are willing to file it off), this one from Wyrd miniatures might do for Svetlana. http://www.wyrd-games.net/shop/product.php?productid=16133&cat=0&bestseller=Y (http://www.wyrd-games.net/shop/product.php?productid=16133&cat=0&bestseller=Y)
I'm not sure how Wyrd mini's compare to Copplestone in size though.

Thanks mate, this is an awesome miniature, but this is not really the style I'm looking for. I'am affraid this one would not visually fit with the rest of the team, due to its strong med-fan feeling.
I've done a few more researches, especially in the Vampire Wars range.

This could do the trick with a few modification (and obviously, a darker painting scheme).
For those of you who own this pack of "Antagonist vampire counts/slayers", what do the three other minis look like?
If I really cannot find anything suitable, I may shift Svetlana for Icepic, a Frankenstein's monster like mobster. Another member of Spookhouse, cool too.

Ahhhhhh yes! Nocturne! :) I remember playing that when I went to college. It took ages for it to load the game on my computer at the time - I remember reading a book while it loaded! lol
As for minis to use - hmmmmm...tough to find any. I think your idea of using the copplestone mini and just sculpting some heavy glasses on him would work!
For the voodoo dude, maybe this:

Of course, it's been 9 years since I played the game so my memory is a little foggy.
I do remember thinking the werewolves were super cool in the game! :D
Did you play the first Blair Witch game that had the Stranger / Doc Holliday in it? That was a good one, but my computer wasn't fast enough to beat the end monster. :-[ Those deadites were cool!
