What with one thing and another I have not played Dux Bellorum since Salute 2013 when I put on a game with James, Tom, Steve Andy and the team.
For our club night yesterday Martin and I arranged a game pitting his Twilight of Britannia force against my Early Saxons.

After a bit of head scratching we played out a fine game.

Beautiful game. The figures look great.
I bought the DB rules a few months ago and have been busily painting up a couple of starter armies (also mostly GB and Musketeer). My son and I recently played our first game using proxy armies, and we both really enjoyed it. I really like the LP rules. I think they add another layer of strategy that's fun.
