Hello
I´ve painted some Citadel and Marauder dwarfs in the last few weeks.
Here we have just two of them. Will post more in the next weeks.
Lovely models and great to paint. Will do more of them in the future.
The thief/adventurer is a paint job I´ve done some month ago and was re based from my dwarf Hott army.
He is too lovely not to be single based ;-)

Very nice indeedy.

The Old Dwarfs have all their abundant character brought out WONDERFULLY by your FINE brushwork. The bases enhance the miniatures in a LOVELY manner. VERY WELL DONE!
-
Lovely. The skin tones are ace.
-
both are great but especially the one on the right
-
Brill!! You've diffinately given those old sculpts a new lease of life!
-
Excellent paint work.Fab old perry dwarves too
-
Great painting!
May I ask, what light source/camera did you use for the pics (I think you could make your brushwork stand out even more with some small adjustments :) )
-
Beautiful paintjobs.
I love the sad look on their faces.
Proper miserable Dwarfs.
:-* 8) :-*

Really fantastic work on these guys...great color choices and the faces are superb.

Ahh, good old stuff, beautifully painted. Must have a look at my own collection ... ;D
-
Lovely stuff. It's when I look at beautiful work like that, that I regret picking Orcs instead when I were a nipper.
-
The old metal Citadel/Marauder dwarves are some of my favorite figures, and you have done them justice!

Really beautiful. Your painting skills really brought out all the character on these superb sculpts. Sadly, they must be OOP or is there a way to procure them still?
I like the little detail of the crystal ball and in general the way you accentuated their big noses.

A fantastic paintjob on great models!
I really miss those adventurous looking miniatures nowadays. :(
-
Instant Fan. Superb Brushwork!

Thanks for your comments. I´m still in the process to find out how I can achieve the best results in my miniature photography. I´m in the very beginning ;-)
I have a "Fujifilm Finepix S" camera. No idea how much pixels and that stuff. I work with two lights on a white surface.

Big thank you to all of your great replies :-* :-*
Have some more Fantasy stuff for you now.
-
Internet connection is nearly down.
Will post them tomorrow.

Here we go!
I have re sculpted the beard of the looting thief (looked crappy).
The thief with the grappling hook got a plastic pipe from a GW dwarfen plastic sprue.
I love dwarfen thiefs :D
The slave ogre pitfighter will join the dwarfen adventureres.
He was a cheap buy on a slave market and so a good deal for the warband ;-)

Fantastic!!! :o :o :o

Stunned!
Again.....

Cracking painting once more!
These pics are sharper, too :)
I would have suggested trying a more neutral background (light greyish or blueish), which I have good results using (I have found that using a white background interferes with the focus of my camera, and that using a very dark/black background leads to over-exposure of the minis) - but it seems you have a camera on which you can adjust the white-balance, which can compensate for the background. If my digital camera has a setting for that, I haven't been able to figure out how to use it, yet lol

Thats Awesome. Just great! as someone who has most of this Minis or even painted some I am intimidated by the Skill you put into them...I feel the urge to rework some of mine.
Love it!

The Old Lads, large & small, look WONDERFUL for the attention you've lavished upon them. VERY WELL DONE!
-
full of character! great work! :-*

Hello
just add two more dwarfs and some WIP. Both were painted some month ago and were part of my HoTT multibases.
They look far better on single bases.
More information and pictures on my blog:

Your creations are INSPIRING...especially since I stumbled across a fair number of Old Dwarfs, Halflings & Such Stuff in the Vault of Pack Rattiness. WONDERFUL WORK!
-
Gorgeous, as usual.

:o
Dont say that!
It was your Dwarf HotT army that has gotten me collecting for some HotT armies of my own.
Now you are tearing them off of their bases and going 'single'!!!!
I may have to make some sabot trays for HotT, just in case I feel the same after time.
;)

It is an honor to me to inspire you!
Enjoy painting them. It is hard to find more character in miniatures then in the old Citadel ones.

I´m sorry for that Mason ::)
The trays seem to be a great solution.
