You are kidding me. How many minis is that? They all look really well painted too.

Thanks guys --- not as impressive when you write the numbers down: 672 Infantry, 144 cavalry, 23 guns (92 crew) and 25 mounted generals. :-)

Impressive in looks and numbers both written and pictured. As a person trying to find the time to build a French army of comparable size I have a shaded quite green with envy.

Brilliant , have you painted them yourself, and if so roughly how long a project has it been.

Now that is not a bad start but when are you going to finish it? :)

This is amazing! What bases sizes did you use? It look like something like 40x40mm for the infantry is that right? What about the sizes of the bases for the artillery and cavalry?
-
Fantastic effort.
It must make you proud to march them into battle.

Yes, 40x40mm for the infantry --- the cav are on 50x50mm and the artillery are on 50mmx80mm. Brigade command goes on 60mm round and division command on 80mm round :-)
Project has been several years in the making --- I focused on it for 1.5-2 years fairly well ... and have added odds and ends since then.
