Title: Hasslefree Survivor Joe
Post by: OLeary on 18 May 2014, 07:53:49 AM
I'm in the process of buying all of the Hasslefree Survivors sculpted by Kev White. The lines on his sculpts are exquisite and his knowledge of human anatomy is outstanding.

This is Joe and I wanted to create a rich, deep skin tone for him by mixing my own colours. I used a combination of Reaper Suntan, Reaper Sunburn and then toned all that down with Citadel Nulin Oil. The Nulin Oil cut the red and created a nice mahogany.

I sculpted the base using Super Sculpey.

Love how his boots came out.

Great job, on a really cool figure.

Great converse shoes and leather vest - swell paintwork there.

Cheers

Nice and all but spoilt by a really nasty mouldline running down the face and arm. :(

Like all good decorators say it's all in the prep. A few mins extra prep makes all the difference.

Looking forward to seeing the next one.
