(I wasn't really sure where these belonged, so in the other adventures they go)
Whilst working hard on other projects it's nice to do the odd fun little thing...
I've always loved aviation so naturally I put these two 10mm scaled planes together. But yes at worst they're a bit of fun and at best prototypes for a larger project.
If I were to make more I'd use laser cutting and a little more tidy sculpting!
Still, if anyone fancies either of these they might see a mold some day.

You make/sell them, I buy them, I paint (or get eye decals) - they will have them! :D lol
Maybe on the nose art area or maybe on the cockpit panels!
Gracias,

Ah right, I thought you were suggesting I should have given them eyes ::)
But yes well, some nose art with eyes wouldn't go amiss!
-
I think they look awesome.
Hope to see more like this. :)
-
They look great, really characterful :)
-
VERY COOL & IMAGINATIVE! Over the years those strange little side projects of mine have taken over...seems like a natural progression to moi.
-
I kind of like them, would buy them if you cast them (have no use whatsoever for them though lol)
Cheers,
Za

I really like them. :D
More please.

Depending on finances at the time more likely four (or maybe more) of each for some mindless fantasy air war battle with home brew rules or modified 2D rules.

They have a little bit of an advance wars look to them. Would love some infantry and tanks in the same style.
-
Yep, I would probably look at a couple of squadrons of each in some comically styled pacific war US/Japanese schemes. A couple of larger bomber types or maybe 2-seaters would be a nice addition. ;)

Well as it's a passion of mine that isn't improbable.

Cheers man.

Every time I see that bold text from you I image Brian Blessed shouting the house down :D
But yeah, Those little side projects do have a way of taking over.

I had some ideas for rules. Mostly modded from the full thrust rules I have to admit.
Then I was thinking of and advanced version with 3D rules. But coming up with telescopic stands would be a right pain.

All in good time...

As above, all in good time. I'd like to make two seaters, cargo planes, bombers etc.

If / when you cast these up, I'll be up for some. They are very characterful. What size are they?
-
What size are they?
They're both 33mm long.
-
They remind me of the sky pirate planes from Disney's TaleSpin.
-
I think they look great. And I'm not sure that they would have the same character if they were laser cut rather than Green Stuff sculpted.
Good luck with these - they deserve to succeed.

The P47 things extra wings certainly were inspired by a childhood cartoon ;)
I brought a bunch of old disney cartoon DVD's for my kids. I enjoyed them on tv as a child and I never see them these days, so thought they might enjoy them. Bit of an understatement really. they love 'em!

Well, when I say laser cut it's simply to give them exact symmetry, so they don't look wonky. However I'd still be slapping on the green stuff to the plastic sheet.

Bergil, I loved those toons as well.
