I bought a 1st Corps Romfell armoured car at Triples. Just painted it and I'm really pleased with it. It's a lovely model.

Nice paint job,but what a bizarre vehicle, did they build many?
-
Probably severely outnumbered by the number of models made of them. Somewhere in the region of two during the war.
But reportedly a few more in post-war Hungary.
Nice model, but not so keen on the rivets. They seem massively over-scaled to me, making it look like some kind of VSF thingy. The real thing looks much smoother and sleek, and far less "rivety."

Lovely piece. You're ready to combat Bela Kuhn's red Hungarian Republic.

I'm glad you like the car, you've got nice weathered feel to it.
The rivets are over sized(but not all) this was done to meet the needs of mould maker, before 1st Corps started casting in house.
It's the last armoured car to revisited in the range,I'll most likely look at it after the Russian front cars are released.Every time I've said I'll take a look,I get puzzled looks and asked" Why?".As for how many Armoured cars were made and used? It depends on who's research you read,a quick image search and you'll find three different cars, straight away.look harder and you'll find more. :)

Well with one crazy shaped armoured car it looks like I'm winning the arms race!
