Copplestone Castings. Back of Beyond British - Indian Army Muslim Infantry
They wear the long shirt and have the correct headgear. The rifle is more modern and the webbing might not be 100% but pretty damn close I think. You might be able to scalpel off the magazine.
Foundry Northwest Frontier Guide Infantry perhaps
NothingI know of that's a 100% fit.....but someone may arrive to correct me?! :)

The Emir is correct as far as I'm aware. That being said, Artizan (Mike Owen) is working his way through the NWF stuff and I saw a mould with Indian troops on the other day. Didn't see the greens or castings, just the mould but there are definately a bunch being done. I think the first set are in tunics not smocks, but there will be some in smocks too. Depends how fast you need them :D

Thanks gents
Amir I did look at Copplestone but there is only one pose but thanks for the tip
Dewbakuk I am in no hurry so will hang for an Artizan release, thanks

It's Emir...you must be thinking of my cousin :D
Sadly that the problem, a lack of figures and variety, but good things come to those who wait patiently......allegedly!

There was a fairly exhaustive discussion on the availability of NWF figures on here a while back...but of course I can't find it :)
I think that the Foundry Guides and/or Sikhs are probably the best fit but you might want to do a head swap with some of the Woodbine Design Hindu heads (best picture I can find here: http://www.grippingbeast.com/product.php?ItemID=2653)
The Copplestone figures aren't really suitable as they are in bandolier order and have Lee Enfields as are/do other WW1 figures.
You might want to consider the Eureka pioneers: http://eurekamin.com.au/product_info.php?products_id=1796 They're a little small and can be difficult to get hold of.
There are, of course, many other manufacturers of very variable quality (mostly very poor IMHO). It all very much depends how many you want and how desperate you are for them :)

Thanks Hobbit
Not a pressing need..just nice to have, thanks for the recommendations.
I got the Eureka Pioneers and was not that keen to be honest...painted them up as a stab at Bombay Sappers and Miners.
Be good if someone did more sculpts for this period, but I think we have had that chat before...I did try and get Newline to do some but nothing happened

I haven't seen those particular Ironclad figures in the flesh. I have a couple of the VSF figures (or rather my wife has) and a friend had quite a few of the British in home service dress. I can't quite put my finger on it but they're all a little stiff; every individual element is near perfect but they don't quite work as a whole.
