I run a mutants and masterminds game for my gaming group, and we usually use 28mm minis on a fairly standard board, designed for whatever fits the theme for that session. But I had something planned. Ya see, I just watched Godzilla and I thought I'd bring back my ultimate pranksters; CLOWN (The Criminal Legion of Wacky Nefariousness) lifted from old versions of Champions, to torment my heroes. I also realized that 28mm was going to be WAY too big for what I had planned. So I got some train supplies, some railroad scenery and cars, and the Dropzone Commander city set. Then I topped it off with a nice Gundam model. Like ya do. I'll set the scene, but I think it's pretty self explanatory. The bad guys start broadcasting Blue Oyster Cult's "Godzilla" across the city, when the Bear appears...

And to clarify, the supers were in 10mm. The one Heroclix was for the guy who could grow to Giant size! You should just be able to make out the 10mm guys near the bear's feet in the fourth picture. It was a lot of fun, even if CLOWN did have to go away licking their wounds.

Nice use of the Beargok. I'm a little disenchanted with M&M as an RPG system, but your game looks great there.

That bear reminds me of Akira's one in a good way.

Love, the water bottle "Water towers" in the one picture. lol Added flavor to the scene. ;)
That is something I would discover post game/after posting (post posting?) the pictures. :)
Gracias,
Glenn

I love that you brought CLOWN back Proditor! Looks like a fun gaming session, and love the scenery.

Thanks guys! Bringing back CLOWN was something I wanted to do when I started my new game. I adapted most of them from Champions, but then added a new member; The King.
They ran a GI Joe Creation of Serpentor arc, and though my heroes tried valiantly, they were unable to prevent CLOWN from making The King, a duplicating, Martials Arts gun toting bad @$$, from the DNA of one Elvis Aaron Presley. At some point I'll post pics of their 28mm minis along with the Crushers from V&V.

Look forward to seeing those minis Proditor!

Bearzilla is a Gundam robot model. The GPB-04B Bearguy. http://gundamvault.blogspot.com/2013/01/1144-hg-gbbg-bearguy.html
