He has done several others along the same theme. He painted a painting of Alatriste at Rocroi which I used as my desktop background for about 6 months and was stunning. (My girlfriend made me take it down because it showed an injured horse and it was "too violent"!!!!)

it is a bit disturbing to see early modern period without chiaroscuro....
