Title: Painting 'sticky' resin
Post by: AndrewBeasley on June 08, 2014, 03:05:52 PM
I have a model made of clear resin cast at home (i.e. not by a company) and even after a year or so (yup the pile is that bit) it is still slightly sticky to touch.

Any ideas how to remove the stickiness or can I get away with an enamel paint undercoat (Halford grey is my normal 'go to' first coat)?

TIA
Andrew

Painting a coat of Future on it should work.  Here is a link for all the names worldwide.

That should seal the surface up.
