I'm looking for small-ish 28mm, typically non-combat, vehicles suitable for sitting around space stations and the like.
Deluge me with suggestions please - preference for euro based vendors. 8)

the Daemonscape models (the old GZG ones) have some useful vehicles.
-
Have a look at Ainsty - e.g. http://ainstycastings.co.uk/product_info.php/cPath/22/products_id/724
They do utility buggies - although they may just be reselling the Crooked Dice ones. They also do larger crawlers. They'd be fine for a spaceport, but may be too big for a space station.
-
Ramshackle games have some excellent options, my favorite being the Gnu transport.

Deamonforge sell them now (Ground Zero Games 25mm vehicles).

Ooh … lots of interesting stuff there I hadn't seen before. Astrid Peth might end up in one of those forklifts if I pass on the Siku one.
How about Antenociti? Though he seems to have withdrawn the best of his civilian vehicles.

Or the ex-Grenadier vehicles from Mirliton?

And this Matchbox Hot Wheels "ATV" should still be in toyshops: the Ainsty buggy driver fits it perfectly.

Whilst your there, have a little browse of the different void factions as well as the Kryomek nexus vehicles.

Too bad the old Johnny Lightning Lost in Space Chariot was closer to 15-20mm...
I once sent one in a package to some friends in Oz, and apparently dad was rather upset his young but opportunistic son had snatched for his own army. ;)

some 'YOU' found? cheeky sod, n815e linked it for you about half way down the thread. ;)
I fancy getting some of the stuff from them - I do have a couple of contacts in Australia too, and someone who spends 6 months of each year over there and the other 6 back here - might be able to sort something out to cut down on postage - drop me line if you like old chap :)

Thanks to the edit button I can honestly say I haven't got a clue what you're saying. TBH though I clicked through to the Aussie stuff via: http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=66840.msg820945#msg820945
I really like their forklift and their cargo loader.
I've just emailed them to see if they've got a Euro stockist, if not what postage might be like, so I'll let you know how that goes.
-
cheers mate :)

It had been a while since I checked their site, but those vehicles (which hadn't been there the last time I looked) are pretty awesome! 8)
Should you find a European stockist, please share, because I might pass an order to them as well...
-
Sure mate, failing a euro stockist it might make sense for the three of us to club together and then split it when it gets over here.

If you do that, please let me join you.
Those forklifts are the bow-locks.
:D
-
Count me in re forklift if we do a group buy.
-
Yay! Forklifts for everyone! lol
-
I've ordered direct from CNC Workshop several times. Their postage is very reasonable, Better than from the US by a long way.
-
Group buy thread here: http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=67856.0
Not sure it'll work nor if it's actually any cheaper but that never stopped Stalin...

Got any photos of finished pieces mate?
-
My last order was £60+ and the post was only £9.95. Once you've paid PayPal fees for the gift and forwarding postal costs I doubt you'll save any money.
-
Very possibly.
-
Once you've paid PayPal fees for the gift
As long as you have a bank account attached to Paypal and not just a credit card, you don't have to pay the fees.

That's promising. I might place an order direct.
-
Well let us know how much postage comes to above and beyond the model price.

Damn Cool!!!

Erm, yeah, the forklifts are ace, I want one too . . . . :D
-
Forklifts seem to be the "in thing" at the moment :)
Antencitis Workshop are previewing some vehicles (including forklifts) for their upcoming kickstarter - link (http://wargameterrain.blogspot.co.uk/2014/06/antenocitis-workshop-infinity-science.html). I haven't been able to find the actual announcement on their site, not sure where it's hidden.

I picked up a Bobcat Skidsteer (http://www.tomy.co.uk/ENG/PRODUCT/42525) yesterday. More pictures here (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Britains-42548-Skid-Steer-Loader-Bobcat/dp/B002A4FJL4)
The first picture points to a 1:16 version, but the one I got was 1:32 (the second link), although the driver's seat is perfect for 28mm. I also got it for a lot less than Amazon's charging, so I may go back and pick up another couple :D
