You had a lot of fun making this, right?
Nice work, the head shots are a little creepy though.
-
Oh $%^& enough about those head shots already :D
Yes they're totally crap but I couldn't find any other way of image making faces without spending lots of cash….(I didn't want to use real photos obviously)
There was an absolute brilliant 3D program that would have looked the biz but was a lot of money…
Had a great time playing this…was time consuming making up the AAR but I enjoy that too…making a campaign with actual characters really opens up a skirmish war-game though…you're actually trying to preserve their little lead lives… :)

Great report an like the heads, you need more shots with facial expressions especially bad dice roles 8)
-
@Lowtardog That was the thing about the 3d program I mentioned you could change the facial expressions to match whatever was transpiring on the battlefield …well Christmas is coming :)
-
Just start a crowdfunding campaign to allow you to buy the program :)

Love the terrain. Where did you get the rusty old car?
-
VonLucky…if I thought it would work I would :D
Elk101 The rusty car is a metal toy I bought for 2 dollars and painted up…some weathering too
-
Well you've made a cracking job of it, that goes for the rest of it too.
-
I am following this with interest, having just read the Hill 112 book by Tim Saunders, keep it coming please.
-
Love it!
-
Out of interest, how many Germans did you have in the game?
-
Thanks Guys….
The Germans had a full Grenadier squad and a Oberfeldwebel; so two MGs teams and 6 rifles and its NCO plus the Zug commander
So it was a British Section vs a German squad
Note: I completely went with random die rolls ….the Brits were very lucky
In the last firefight I was planning on the Brits to make a strategic retreat because they were being out gunned. Then a got 2x 6 CoC and a 5 CoC dice which meant they would have two turns in a row and their leader had built up a enough "5"s to enable him to make a free action…I decided to assault because it seemed more like the action of the character I gave him (he had already won a MM for outflanking a MG42 in Italy) I thought it might end in disaster and I'd be relying on 2nd Section in the next couple of games but it actually worked out.
For the firefight I tried the close combat rules of SCFF rules which I like a lot for adding modifiers for individual characters
