While looking up something for my Mom, I stumbled upon this and had to share as its too cool not to.
This should make an easy build for a very useful gaming boat.

The first Seagull was produced for major auto manufacturer Ransom E. Olds in 1928. The boat was named “Flying Cloud” and was used by the Olds family for two years before it was sold to the infamous “Scarface” himself, Al Capone in 1930. Capone used the boat for recreation in Florida, where he once owned a mansion near Miami. Widely known for his criminal empire, Capone was convicted of income tax evasion and was sentenced to prison. The “Flying Cloud” was later sold to help satisfy his outstanding debts.
Hmmmm, sold to whom?
Pic and excerpt are from the excellent article, with plans ;) from here;

.....and you are the man to build it, Amalaric, looking forward to seeing it alongside your other boats! ;)

It's a tempting project,but I have to ask what research does your mother require that lead's to Al Capone's speed boat?
(Speaking as a man who got drunk with father christmas,and played cricket with the nineth legion.It's nice to know your not the only one who's life get's alittle odd.)

I was looking for pictures of WW2 Higgins boats as my Mom was telling us a story about the one my grandfather brought home after the war as surplus, filled the thing with water and let them swim in it. No kidding.
