Nice find and it certainly gives the lie to the usual IB accounts that they were all good chaps and totally committed to the cause.  :)

Sid Hamm's diary is worth a read, even if it is a short one. He was one of the youngest Brigadiers and seemed to spend most of his time trying to get sent home. I cannot say that I blame him.
