I'm new to the Back of Beyond and could do with nudge in the right direction -
Anyone got a link to a good site on White Russian Uniforms in central Asia in the '18-26 period?
Thanks
MM.

On this territories were mostly white Cossack units and Kazakh national formation "Alash Orda."
Most interesting uniform division Ataman Annenkov:

Excellent pictures as usual Cuprum! It is a shame no manufacturers produce any miniatures dressed in "Yermakovki."
-
Unfortunately. But conversion figures Copplestone not so hard ;)
-
Wow - great stuff Cuprum!
Any chance of a translation of the Russian text?
I'm planning to do a Russian 'remnants' unit to go with my BoB Arabs - a real miss-matched group with a mix of the wacky uniforms the Whites had at the time.
Cheers,
MM.

Translate large amounts of text into English for me a problem. I use the Google translator for correspondence.
I think you can try to translate Russian texts in the same way. If you have any questions - I'll try to help.

I was only really after a hint as to the captions on the drawings - but thanks all the same!
