I have a little one with the same teenage hairstyle too, we share too many similarities!

Maybe cute but how good are it's tactics? ;)
And congrats on the blog hits.

Well, shameless self-promotion :) When I have a new blog post, I post some preview pics here, and, if I'm feeling really sleazy, on TMP lol I have around 52ish? followers, so they visit. And I get some really random hits on some topics. The countries list is very interesting - I think because of the Yom Kippur posts, one day I had around 100 hits from ... Egypt. All in one day. That's very odd. But still neat :D
Posting regularly is a must. When I don't post every 2-3 days (like now...), my hits fall dramatically. When I am posting, I am getting around 200 a day, often 300. So I could hit 100,000 much faster this year.
Hope this helps!

First of all congratulations on reaching the 50.000 hits, Grant!
@Archie. The key for attracting more hits, is mostly interesting content (reviews are always great) and regular updates (you then also appear in top of blog scrolls on other blogs). In the first year of my own blog I attracted around 2.000 views a month, I now reach 5 years later around 65.000-70.000 views a month and have just reached the 400 follower mark.

Congrats Grant!
The problem for me is that i choose to avoid wordpress or blogspot and stay on my own domain... however, this way the viewer traffic is reduced drammatically. I do probably get more "significative" views, since the casual users are hardly redirected on my site.
On the other hand, i decided to post only tutorials, so no reviews or battle reports, and that reduces the interest to visit it often.
Cheers
Jack
