Fooking hell, I'm in!
And for those who've missed it, I recently painted up those two helmeted guys in the last pic:

Also, I'm happy to see you haven't done the jet bikes yet. lol
-
Typical. ::)
Have to wait for next weeks releases now before I put another order in. :)
-
Email sent :)
I am familiar with the Security due to Phreedhs work, but I didnt really know the other miniatures at all. They look like great little models.
-
Nice job, phreedh....shows their potential. JKet Bikes? Does someone want them?
Ray, everything comes to those who wait. Remind me which of the myriad Wartechs you're after?
Cheetor - email received. I'll weigh them up in a mo - just got to pour a bottle of Bishop's Finger to help me deal with the heat....
Thanks all

Lovely, thanks.
I mentioned this to you via email while you cycled to and from your workshop to cast me up some Phagon Beastmen last summer, but you really make your retired-with-vanity-toy-soldier-project existence seem extremely enviable.
You are living the dream Doug. More power to you :)

Those 2 helmeted, goggled guys , remind me of the old 40k imperial guard.

Lovely, thanks.

Gosh - yes, I remember that...I'm still cycling to and from the Workshop. "Living the dream" - well, don't know about that - you'll have to ask my wife for confirmation... :)
Anyway, I reckon when you've staggered through to oap status, it's time to cut yourself a little slack. Mind you it's difficult - there's so many rotten bullies on this forum demanding all sorts of Spacelord releases..... lol

.....bbbiiiiiiiiiiiiiikkkes!
But Cybertech SECS first! I need some humans to go with the Phagon beastmen you cast for me back in April....
-
Any of the Cybertech wartechs Doug. But I'll wait, I know you'll get to them eventually. ;)
-
Ugh! I love them.
Will put in my order as soon as I have checked if I need any of the new Phagons too.
Please do the Phagon Overlords soon and I can put in a larger order.

SPACELORDS PROJECT UPDATE
I've had several orders for this weeks release and last week's went OK. It may seem obvious but if I'm going to continue to mould and release this range, I need to sell them. Although the orders have been welcome, they've just about covered the cost of the raw moulds so far. I should say that I'm doing this as a separate project from em4. It's funded just by me and is in effect, as someone has said recently, a kind of vanity project. It's also a big project - Spacelords is a heck of a range. So, if the longed-for miniature of your dreams isn't released immediately, it's just because there's so many to do - almost everyone wants something different.
To sum up - if I'm going to continue doing this, I need sales and I need a certain amount of patience if you are waiting for something special. And if you are, in the meantime, why not treat yourself to something else from the range even if it's not your top priority...?
That's the end of my shameless grovelling for orders.

I know and I will make an order! I was just pushing to maybe get lucky before I get my collection sorted out lol

Thanks, Jonas nd I must emphasise that my update is not directed at anyone in particular - not even jet-bike thingy enthusiasts.... :D :D :D

I know :D But I also know that a venture like this can not run on good intentions alone ;)

If you know the pricing Doug I'll preorder? ;)

I hear your plea...order email sent! :)

Just to be clear, my comment of 'typical' wasn't because you hadn't released a load of Wartechs it was because I'd only just recieved my previous order and had I known these were next in line I'd have hung on a bit to include them. :)
Interesting to see that in the original poll the most votes has swung between both Cybertech and Phagons fairly regularly.
Anyway, what's next Doug? :D
-
I am very tempted by these, and will order them tonight. Just need the Space bar released, even in three or more blisters and I will be a happy man (I had one of these many years ago).
-
Had several orders in yesterday and overnight - especially from LAFFERS; thanks all.
Hope I didn't sound too grumpy on my UPDATE - I'm a little ray of sunshine really - i just want this to work.
Next? I really haven't decided. On the one hand, it'd be neat and tidy (but mabe not that exciting?) to finish off the Battleclones. Equally, the Adventurers would complete the "non-miltary" types (if I included the Personalities with them). Then there are the Jet-bikes of course.
This is the problem - a huge amount to choose from and I really can't do more than 3 moulds a week (two is more realistic). Although the actual mould making is little more than an hour, there is preparation time (another hour), cutting in (a couple of hours sometimes) then running it and doing tweaks to make it work properly. So, getting two moulds up and running properly can easily take a day and a half or longer. The rest of the week is needed for regular em4 stuff.
The balance of the Battleclones is two weeks at this rate of production;; the Adventurers/Personailties probably one week and the bikes perhaps a week and a half. Hang on - where is my "retirement" time....? :-[
A swift, unnofficial poll from now to Monday would be interesting.

Would you like me to set another up Doug?

Just come back from shopping - wife's birthday tomorrow :D
I see you've done it - thanks ray; well done.

Sorry, I did think 'yeah, why not'. :)

Just sent you an email regarding the Ship's Crew, Doug.
As soon as you send me the demand with menaces I shall pay up.
:D
(Bearing in mind I wont be doing anything with them for at least a year, this is enthusiasm.... ;)).

You are saying you have to paint your miniatures :o
ship crew looks good Doug, will wait a while and make another order. First slap some paint on the battle-clones and Phagon.
Cheers,
Za

Doug,
I Hope You do some of the other stuff in the near Future. I have nearly 100 to 120 Phagons and Battleclones, but only 40 to 60 Cybertechs. So I have to wait for the Future, I'm afraid
But it is good to get them again.
-
Adventurers moulded - 4 figures including the "special". None cast yet and a slight delay before doing the Personalities until some more moulds arrive - hopefully by Wednesday.

Exciting! :D
-
Great stuff Doug, you're not hanging about are you. ;)

My ships crew arrived this morning, they are cute but crisp little things. Im having trouble staying focussed on other projects with these little guys in the wings.
The Pilot/Navigator is my favourite from this batch. Lots of crisp detail in the helmet, gun and backpack. The face looks less rounded/babylike/collecting-nuts-in-cheek-pouches than the angle in the image at the start of the thread suggests: its better in hand. Its a cool model, currently barging its way to the front of my painting queue.
Nice one Doug. I cant wait to get my hands on the adventurers :)
