A bit late, I know, here are some shots of my LPL (Round 9) Palmyrans. Lovely miniatures from A&A, made by Aventine's Adam. Lots of stuff and details to paint therefore I had to speed up my painting trying to make the deadline. Would have loved having Zenobia more colourful getting to her I've been too exhausted. Anyway, that has to last.

Those are absolutely splendid! The painting is superb!
That is a classic range. I'd love to think that Adam will return to it at some stage.

Fantastic stuff!

really impressive, and one of my favourite armies 8)

Nice. I've got a 15mm Palmyran army boxed up somewhere. Those Aventine figures male me think of doing it again in 28mm - I MUST resist!

FAO Big Martin Back
The figures are from A&A not Aventine, we do make some that will mix in but the camels etc. are A&A.
Cheers

Truely outstanding painting. The detailing of the fabrics, the freehands, the beautiful scene arrangement all together make for a superb group. Is this a smaller army project of yours or will you paint up hundreds to this quality? If so, you are crazy, but the good kind of crazy.

Thans for all the nice comments, guys!

Rather small project, I'd say, I don't think I could keep the motivation for hundreds of them for long.

Beautiful Prof. I really love these figures from Aventine. You make them look even better.

Thanks! Though as mentioned already the figures are from A&A miniatures, not Aventine :)

This are simply brilliant! Bright and beautiful, just the way I've imagined the Palmyrans.

Great work on one of the most interestiing milieus of antiquity! Love that painting, Prof.
And I too think Zenobia is just fine.
